The right work. A clear plan.
The first useful step is to identify the problem, not choose a replacement part. Similar symptoms can come from different causes, and a fault may involve more than the device you first notice. We assess the reported issue and accessible electrical components, then explain the options.
This repair hub helps you choose between breaker, outlet, switch and wiring services. Use the individual pages to understand what affects the work, what information to share and when the situation deserves an urgent call rather than a routine online request.

Make the next step a good one.
Start with the relevant outlet or switch repair page. Note whether neighboring devices are affected and whether equipment or fixtures recently changed.
Circuit-breaker troubleshooting considers the connected load and wiring as well as the protective device. Replacing the breaker is not automatically the answer.
Wiring repair starts with the condition and access. A targeted correction and whole-home rewiring should be compared as different scopes.
For burning odors, heat, visible damage or repeated interruptions, stop using the affected equipment and call for advice. For smoke, fire, injury or immediate danger, leave the area and call 911. Do not repeatedly reset protection or remove panel covers to diagnose the issue yourself.
Clear expectations. Better decisions.
The fault, equipment, access and repair scope determine the price. Our $69 dispatch fee is applied toward repair work when performed and waived for active members. We explain the recommended repair and its pricing before you approve work.
Your written estimate should identify the equipment, electrical work, access, permits and any separate trades or finish restoration. Ask about anything you do not see included.

We dispatch from our Lynnwood home base to service-area communities in both counties. A Seattle remodel and a Lynnwood repair can involve different inspection authorities, so we confirm the property and scope rather than applying a single permit assumption everywhere.
Most electrical work requires a permit and inspection through the authority responsible for the address. We obtain the electrical permit for work we perform when required. Utility-service approval is a separate step when applicable. Washington electrical permit guidance ↗
