Terms of Service

1. Services

Live Wire Electric provides residential electrical services throughout King and Snohomish Counties, Washington. Our services include but are not limited to electrical repairs, installations, panel upgrades, EV charger installations, generator services, lighting design, and emergency electrical work.

2. Estimates & Pricing

All estimates provided are based on the information available at the time of assessment. Final pricing may vary if additional work is discovered during the project. We will always communicate any changes in scope or pricing before proceeding with additional work.

• A $69 dispatch fee applies to all service calls
• The dispatch fee is credited toward the cost of completed work
• Free estimates are available for scheduled projects

3. Warranty

Live Wire Electric provides a 2-year warranty on all equipment and services. Active Live Wire Membership customers receive a 25-year warranty on equipment and services for the duration of their active membership. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and does not extend to manufacturer equipment warranties, which are handled separately. Warranty claims must be reported within the warranty period.

4. Scheduling & Cancellations

We strive to honor all scheduled appointments. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Same-day cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee. Emergency services are available 24/7 and are prioritized based on severity and safety concerns.

5. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards. For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work begins. Financing options are available for qualifying customers.

6. Licensing

Live Wire Electric holds Washington contractor license #LIVEWWE844J2. Current license, bond and insurance status can be verified with the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries, and we will provide current certificates on request.

7. Membership Program

The Live Wire Membership is billed at $9.95 per month or $120 per year, as shown on our membership page. Members receive 15% off services, a waived dispatch fee, priority scheduling and the membership warranty described above. Current pricing and benefits are confirmed at sign-up. Membership can be cancelled at any time; cancellation and refund handling for any prepaid period is described in your membership agreement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Washington law, and except where a signed agreement with you says otherwise, Live Wire Electric is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Nothing here limits rights you have under Washington law or under a signed agreement, which controls if it conflicts with this page. We perform electrical work in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes.
