Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

This policy describes how Live Wire Electric, a residential electrical contractor based at 19504 24th Ave W, Lynnwood, WA 98036 (WA contractor license #LIVEWWE844J2), handles personal information collected through livewireelectricwa.com and the phone, text and email channels advertised on it. It applies to this website and our related customer communications.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what we need to answer you and perform electrical work:

  • Information you give us through our Site Spark booking, chat and optional project request form, or by calling, texting or emailing us: name, phone number, email address, service address, the service you need, urgency, property type and anything you write in a message.
  • Service records: appointment history, work performed at your property, estimates, invoices, membership status and warranty records.
  • Call information: information you provide during a call and communication records used to respond to you. This website displays our business phone number and does not configure CallRail number swapping.
  • Website and device information: network request details such as IP address and browser information are received by our host and embedded providers when their content loads. Site Spark also sends widget usage and performance events with a correlation identifier. These provider features operate independently of this website's optional preference controls.
  • Payment details are handled by our payment providers. We do not store full card numbers on this website.

We do not ask for and do not want sensitive information such as government ID numbers, financial account numbers or health information through this website. Please do not include it in a form or chat message.

3. Why We Use It

  • Responding to estimate requests, questions and emergency calls
  • Scheduling, performing and warrantying electrical work at your property
  • Sending estimates, invoices, appointment updates and service follow-ups
  • Administering our membership program
  • Keeping records required for licensing, permitting, tax and insurance purposes
  • Understanding website and service interactions through the configured providers, and measuring advertising through Meta Pixel page visits and Google Ads page visits and successfully saved project and booking requests, and service-phone click intentions only after an updated Advertising choice
  • Sending promotional messages only where you separately opted in
  • Protecting the site and our customers against fraud, spam and abuse

4. Service Providers and Integrations

The current website uses these providers. They receive information through requests to their services and have their own privacy practices:

  • TradeVulcan Site Spark — booking, chat and project request forms, submitted service requests, widget session storage, and widget usage and performance events. Page and service context can accompany a booking or chat request.
  • TradeVulcan Proof Pulse — project stories, trust notices and interactive project maps. Mapping providers may receive requests when map content loads.
  • Google Fonts — font files requested by the website.
  • Vercel — hosting and delivery of this website and its assets.
  • Meta Pixel — optional page-visit measurement for advertising on this production website, excluding the pricing guide, after you enable Advertising. Meta can receive page and referring-page addresses, browser and network information, and cookie or advertising identifiers. We do not provide request-form fields or treat clicks as saved leads. See Meta’s Privacy Policy.
  • Google Ads — optional page-visit, saved project and booking-request, and service-phone click measurement after an updated Advertising opt-in. Google can receive browser and network information and advertising identifiers. Our tag supplies sanitized page addresses, valid Google advertising click identifiers and opaque persisted submission or booking-session identifiers for duplicate protection. A request that is later confirmed remains one lead. A phone click is an intention, not a connected call. We do not include contact or project fields in conversion-event payloads, and do not treat clicks, planner completion or form opening as saved requests. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
  • Cloudflare, used by TradeVulcan — security and traffic protection on provider requests, including bot-protection and rate-limiting cookies. See our Cookie Policy for the reported cookie names and their purposes.

This website does not currently configure a separate Google Tag Manager container, Google Analytics or CallRail tags, or the former embedded GoHighLevel / LeadNurtureMachine forms. Cookie settings gates Live Wire Insights, Meta Pixel and Google Ads; it does not block the independent booking, chat, project content, font or hosting features listed above. External review, financing or other links take you to services governed by their own policies.

Live Wire Insights: optional website measurement

After you enable Analytics, Live Wire Insights measures anonymous page views, original source categories, sanitized campaign labels, click intentions, scroll depth, active time, provider-confirmed saved-form signals and website performance. A random tab-session identifier is stored in lwe-insights-session-v1 and renews after 30 minutes without measured activity. Turning Analytics off stops subsequent measurement and clears that session identifier. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track prevent this measurement.

The visitor reports do not store names, email addresses, phone numbers, form or calculator fields, full URLs or query strings, raw IP addresses, precise locations or session recordings. Network providers still process the information necessary to deliver requests. An IP-derived one-way value may be retained briefly to limit abusive requests. Detailed visitor events expire from reports after 90 days and become eligible for automatic deletion. Restricted administrator sessions use a secure, HTTP-only cookie for up to eight hours. Dashboard users may exclude their own browser using lwe-insights-exclude.

This first-party service is hosted using Vercel and Amazon Web Services. It is separate from the existing advertising tags and from Site Spark’s independently operated features. Old Analytics preferences made before this service was introduced do not activate it: a fresh Analytics choice is required. Advertising remains a separate preference. Opening a booking or chat feature and clicking a phone link are intentions, not proof of a completed appointment, qualified lead or connected call.

We may also disclose information to subcontractors or suppliers involved in your job, to our insurers, accountants and legal advisors, to permitting or licensing authorities where required, when the law or legal process requires it, to protect the rights, property or safety of Live Wire Electric, our customers or the public, and to a successor if our business is transferred.

Sale and sharing under state privacy laws. We do not sell personal information for money. Some laws define sale, sharing or targeted advertising more broadly. When you enable Advertising under the updated disclosure, Meta Pixel receives page-visit information and Google Ads receives page-visit, saved project and booking-request, and service-phone click information for advertising. Turn Advertising off to stop subsequent site-triggered advertising measurement. The other embedded providers above still receive information when their features load. Cookie settings is not a universal opt-out from those providers. Section 7 explains how to contact us with a privacy or opt-out request.

5. Cookies and Tracking

Our Cookie Policy explains local storage, the current provider inventory and the limits of Cookie settings. Meta Pixel and Google Ads load only after a current Advertising opt-in. Earlier advertising preferences do not enable the current integrations; Live Wire Insights requires a fresh Analytics choice. A Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal keeps both optional preferences off; it does not block Site Spark, Proof Pulse, font requests or their independent provider activity.

The first-visit privacy notice links to these policies and Cookie settings. Accept optional enables Analytics and Advertising; Reject optional keeps both off. Settings lets you choose each category. No optional tracking starts merely because the notice appears. Its acknowledgment is stored separately in your browser.

Sparky’s pricing guide calculates a planning range from service choices without asking for contact or payment information. It stores functional project state in the browser and can include those choices in shared page links. The local financing worksheet does not contact a lender or make a credit decision. Calculating a guide does not require contact details. If you submit the optional project request form, TradeVulcan Site Spark receives your name, contact details, service address, selected service, project details and request consent so Live Wire Electric can respond. The calculator does not automatically send its answers or pricing to the form; include the copied project summary if you want the crew to receive it. See the Cookie Policy for storage and link details; using the separate booking or request form follows the provider practices above.

On the generator offer page, reaching the request step adds your planning summary and generator service choice to the embedded Site Spark form in your browser. You can review and edit Project details before submitting. This does not submit a request; contact details and consent are entered separately in the form.

6. Mobile Information, Calls and SMS

Live Wire Electric does not sell or rent mobile phone numbers for money, and text-messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We share phone numbers with the service providers listed above only to deliver the messages and calls you asked for.

Marketing calls and texts require a separate opt-in and are never a condition of purchase. If you opt in, you agree we may contact you at the number you provide, including with automated technology. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. You will still receive transactional messages about a job you booked.

7. Your Privacy Rights and How to Exercise Them

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, request a copy, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, opt out of targeted advertising or the sale or sharing of personal information, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Washington's My Health My Data Act also gives Washington residents rights over consumer health data; we do not intentionally collect health data through this website.

To make a request, email info@livewireelectricwa.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line, call (206) 276-9029, or write to us at 19504 24th Ave W, Lynnwood, WA 98036. We will ask for enough information to verify that the request is yours, and we will respond within the time period required by applicable law. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization. If we decline a request, you may ask us to reconsider by replying to our response.

Opting out of targeted advertising, sale or sharing. Use Cookie settings and choose Reject Non-Essential or turn Advertising off to stop subsequent site-triggered Meta Pixel and Google Ads measurement. GPC also keeps both optional preferences off. Withdrawal cannot undo information previously sent or remove another provider’s cookies. This browser setting does not send a request to every provider or stop the independent features described in Section 4. For a privacy or opt-out request concerning information handled by Live Wire Electric, use the email, phone or postal contact above; we will handle your request as required by applicable law. You may also review an external provider's privacy policy for its own request options. Browser choices are stored per browser and can be changed at any time.

You can opt out of marketing email at any time using the unsubscribe link, and out of marketing texts by replying STOP.

8. Retention

We keep information only as long as we need it. Estimate and contact submissions that do not become jobs are kept while we follow up and for a limited period afterward for record-keeping. Customer job records, invoices and warranty documentation are kept for the length of the applicable warranty and for as long as tax, licensing, permitting, insurance and legal-claim requirements apply. Call records and analytics data are kept for the retention period offered by the relevant provider. When information is no longer needed we delete it or keep it in a form that is no longer identifiable.

9. Security

We use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to a small contracting business, including HTTPS on this website, access limited to staff who need it, reputable hosting and form providers, input validation and anti-spam controls on website submissions, and secrets kept out of the website code. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. To report a security concern, email info@livewireelectricwa.com.

10. Children

This website is intended for adults arranging electrical work and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-Party Sites

Our pages link to and embed content from other companies, including review platforms, our booking provider and mapping providers. This policy does not cover their practices; please review their privacy policies.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our services or tools change. The effective date at the top shows the current version. If we make a material change we will highlight it on this page, and where required we will ask for your consent again.
