Get help with the interruption, even if you do not know the cause

Maybe the laundry stops when another appliance turns on. Maybe the same room loses power even when your routine has not changed. Tell us what you are experiencing and we will investigate the circuit, equipment and connections involved. You do not have to troubleshoot your own panel to make the call.

A tripping breaker can be responding to too much demand, a wiring problem or equipment trouble. Sometimes the breaker itself needs replacement. We sort through those possibilities so the repair addresses the reason your home is losing power instead of just swapping a part.

We match the replacement to your Homeline panel

HOM120 is one example in the standard Homeline family. It provides overload and short-circuit protection for its specified application. Other Homeline devices add electronic protection, and Square D QO is a separate family. The brand name alone does not identify the right replacement.

Our crew checks the full panel and breaker information, the connected circuit and the protection it needs. We also look at the condition of the connection. Installing a new breaker into damaged supporting equipment would leave an important part of the problem behind.

Make room for the way you use your home today

A kitchen refresh, added freezer or new garage equipment can change how much you ask of an existing circuit. If the interruptions started after a change, mention it when you book. We can help distinguish an electrical fault from a circuit that needs to be redesigned for its new job.

Adding a higher-rated breaker is not a shortcut to more usable power. The wiring and equipment must support the load. When a dedicated circuit is appropriate, Live Wire can explain the installation, access needed and cost so you can compare a lasting improvement with the original repair request.

A clear repair plan, without an automatic panel replacement

We will show you how our recommendation connects to the findings. A sound panel with a failed breaker may need a limited repair. Heat damage, unsuitable prior work or broader capacity needs may justify discussing more. You deserve to understand that difference before committing to a larger project.

The proposed work identifies the replacement, related circuit corrections and the checks after repair. If your installed device has AFCI or GFCI protection, we keep those requirements in the conversation. Removing a safety function to stop trips is not the result we want for your family.

Common questions

Can you replace a Homeline breaker during a repair visit?

If the diagnosis supports replacement and the correct equipment is available, that can be the repair. We confirm the part and any other work needed before making a commitment.

Is Homeline the same as Square D QO?

No. They are different families. Our electricians check the panel and complete device information to choose a supported replacement.

Will I need a whole new panel?

Not automatically. We explain whether the issue is limited to a breaker or circuit, or whether panel condition and household demand support a broader recommendation.

What if the breaker trips again after I reset it?

Stop repeatedly resetting it and arrange an electrical diagnosis. If you notice burning, smoke or immediate danger, leave the area and seek emergency help.
