MAIN and MLO panel families

SPAN Panel

SPAN brings energy monitoring and circuit control into the panel platform. The pictured MLO 48 is one format in the lineup; the right enclosure and service arrangement depend on the installation.

  • App-based circuit control
  • Main and main-lug formats

More to consider.

MAIN 16, MAIN 32 and MAIN 40

Main-breaker panel formats provide different circuit capacities. We review the service arrangement and actual circuit count rather than choosing by enclosure appearance.

MLO 24 and MLO 48

Main-lug-only formats serve a different connection arrangement from main-breaker models. The pictured MLO 48 does not mean every SPAN proposal uses that format.

Backup priorities

With a supported battery installation, SPAN can help organize backup priorities. Storage capacity, inverter output and system compatibility remain separate design decisions.

The Live Wire part.

Good equipment.
Great attention to detail.

Your SPAN project needs more than a product in a box. Here is how we bring the electrical work into focus.

Map the circuits you actually use

We review existing circuits, available space and planned additions such as an EV charger, heat pump or induction range. That makes the panel choice part of a longer-term home plan.

Review the entire service

Meter equipment, grounding, service conductors and the utility connection may affect the scope. We explain the difference between changing a panel and increasing utility service capacity.

Coordinate the connected system

We identify the network, commissioning and compatible backup requirements for the proposed equipment, then define the installation and handoff in the quote.

things up.

Why is SPAN Live Wire’s preferred smart-panel option?

We favor its integrated approach when circuit visibility and control are central to the project. The right panel format and installed design still depend on the home.

Will SPAN power my house during an outage?

Not by itself. It needs a separately designed, compatible backup source. A smart panel manages power; it does not store or generate it.

Can a smart panel avoid every service upgrade?

No. Managed loads can be part of a supported design, but the home’s load, service and utility requirements still need review. We compare the actual options before recommending the scope.

Good choices deserve a clear comparison.
