We build the installation around the way you park
Show us where the car usually sits and which side has the charge port. We review cable reach, garage-door movement, storage and the path people use to get inside. A mounting location that is easy to wire still needs to be convenient for you every day.
If you park outside, we account for the equipment's installation requirements, cable storage and wet-weather use. If the garage serves several purposes, we help keep the charger accessible without taking over the space. These details make a lasting difference after the installation visit is over.
Give the car the charging rate it needs
We discuss your daily driving and usual time at home before selecting a charging setting. Tesla publishes up to 48 amps and 11.5 kW for supported installations, while the circuit and the vehicle's AC charging limit determine what you can actually use.
We check your electrical service and existing loads as part of the design. A lower supported setting may meet your overnight needs; another home may benefit from additional electrical work or an appropriate management option. We explain the practical difference so the decision is about your mornings, not simply the largest number.
We inspect before reusing an older circuit
Replacing an existing charger can be a good opportunity to review the wiring, protection and condition of the circuit. We confirm the old equipment and its setting, then check what the proposed Gen 3 installation requires. A previous charger working there does not automatically support a higher charging current.
Wall Connector is also a name shared across generations. We identify the actual unit and use the correct documentation. If you are comparing Gen 3 with Universal Wall Connector, we explain the connector difference and check which choice fits the vehicles your household expects to use.
Make any added management feature purposeful
If your home has limited spare capacity, supported Dynamic Power Management may be worth reviewing for a single Gen 3 charger. It requires the correct metering and configuration. We identify that work clearly rather than treating ordinary Wi-Fi or app setup as load management.
For a second charging location, we can discuss the relevant group-sharing design. Home backup is another distinct project with separate eligibility and equipment requirements. We keep the quoted charging scope clear so you understand what the Wall Connector installation provides and which future options need additional planning.
Know the scope before the crew gets to work
Wiring length, access, mounting surface, existing circuit condition and service changes can affect the installation cost. We review those details and explain the work included. We also plan the configuration and handoff so you know the installed charging limit and how to use the equipment.
Contact Live Wire with your vehicle details, address and photos of the closed electrical panel and parking area. For a replacement, include an accessible photo of the existing charger. We will help you move from a box of equipment or a charging wish list to a useful installation at home.

Request ServiceCommon questions
Can Gen 3 replace my older Tesla Wall Connector?
We review the old charger, circuit and proposed setting first. Some existing work may be reusable, but we confirm compatibility and condition and explain any changes needed for the Gen 3 installation.
Will I need a panel upgrade?
We determine that from the electrical review. Your driving needs, available capacity and any supported management option all matter. We explain the practical choices instead of assuming an upgrade is required for every home.
How is the standard model different from Universal?
The standard Wall Connector uses a NACS connection. Universal Wall Connector adds an integrated J1772 adapter. We help you choose based on the exact vehicles and the flexibility you want at home.
Can an ordinary Wall Connector installation power my house?
No. Home backup requires a supported system, eligible equipment and a separate design and commissioning path. We can discuss that goal, but it is not included simply by installing this charging circuit.
